Ronny Bernstiel is a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) instructor and highly respected martial arts professional with over 14 years of training and commitment to the gentle art. Ronny earned his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2024 under the tutelage and lineage of Professors Daniel Gracie and Rodrigo Fujita at the Daniel Gracie Academy in Philadelphia, marking a major milestone in a journey defined by discipline, resilience, and passion for teaching. 

As a seasoned competitor, Ronny has participated in numerous International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) events at both regional and international levels, representing the Daniel Gracie Academy and the broader BJJ community with professionalism and pride. His competitive experience includes appearances at high-caliber tournaments such as the World Master IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship, as well as medaling at the New Jersey International Open, showcasing his technical skill, unorthodox style, and strategic approach to the sport.

Ronny’s teaching philosophy centers on the lifelong value of jiu-jitsu—not just as a sport, but as a tool for personal development, self-confidence, and mental discipline. He brings a patient yet rigorous instructional style to his classes, helping students of all skill levels progress safely and effectively through their training journeys.
