First class was a great experience with great atmosphere and even better people. They really guide you from the warm ups into the motions. Positive reinforcement here is superb. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone interested in the sport.

Over the last year. This place has become home. Nothing I enjoy more then rushing to class to train under world class instructors and to see the rest of the team. Renzo Gracie Philly is the place to be. Real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belts !!

I’m so glad that I found this place! Three years ago, I found Renzo Gracie Philly via Yelp and started with Muay Thai class. Now, I’m taking all classes (Juijitsu Including No Gi and Gi, Muay Thai, Kick boxing, MMA striking and wrestling) that were offered by Renzo because people are so nice and helpful here. The wresting coach Cody is very thorough and making sure you progress which is great that you don’t just waste money. Cody is also a current MMA fighter who is actually passionate about teaching you to get better. Daniel Gracie is the owner of gym who is also teaching Juijitsu and MMA striking – Daniel is a former BJJ, MMA champion, so you know you are in good hands. Sideco is a great jujitsu instructor who is also actually still fighting in BJJ and MMA – he would actually tell you if you even move one finger incorrectly. If you want to learn traditional Jiujitsu, this place is perfect for you. People are so protective toward each other with good ethics, and keep making sure that you don’t get injured. I have no family here in Philly and these people became great big family. Whatever your goal is, people will motivate you to get there. You’re not only getting your exercise, but also learning technics of self-defense. Trust me, You will be hooked !!

Excellent instruction. Professor Daniel is awesome. Tons of real fighting experience, Gracie bloodline. Need I say more? And totally professional and friendly environment.

Daniel Gracie is not only a technical master of Jiujitsu/Valetudo and MMA, he is also a caring human being and has a kind and compassionate heart. He is also among the most dedicated teachers and coaches you will ever have the good fortune to learn martial arts from. Train with him for week and it will test your soul but you will also learn why his students are willing to follow him to hell and back! He gives you his all and it makes you give your all. Yet when you fail and you will fail he doesn’t make you feel bad about yourself. He helps you understand where and how you can become more technically sound and if you are being lazy he will tell you that too, but sometimes that is the necessary honesty to improve but the few times I have had the good fortune to train under him, no matter how tired I am. I leave with a smile on my face and I can’t wait to come back. I feel like training with that level of commitment let’s me know in time I can become the best version of me.
